Happy Friday babes! Summer is in full swing and here I am STILL wearing black. But this pleated layered dress from SHEIN makes me feel everything except sweaty. The fabric and liner are lightweight and it doesn’t hug my body so it’s super breezy. It also helps the the waist is elastic so you won’t ever feel constricted and have room for all the activities. I’m wearing a size 3x which is their equivalent to an 18 and it fits me pretty true to size.

Speaking of dress up , let’s get into this gorgeous midi dress perfect for any summer event (weddings, brunch, date night, you name it!). I’m wearing the High-Low Faux Wrap Fit & Flare Midi dress from Lane Bryant in a size 18. It’s light and airy and hangs on my 5’10” frame perfectly. The waist is elastic, but it also comes with a detachable belt for some extra hug.

As you all know I love to keep my style simple and comfortable so of course I had to start with a good pair of jeans. The ones I’m wearing are from the Jordache collection and I’m wearing a size 20 in their High Rise Super Skinny Ankle jeans. I love that they’re actually skinny from thigh to ankle. I usually run into jeans not skinny enough throughout, but these ones hugged my legs perfectly all the way down. I wanted to note that while they’re truly skinny jeans there was plenty of stretch in the legs for all the activities. This is a versatile pair of jeans that be dressed up or down.
